I figure I'm going to have a back story page for this book, to talk about the research I've done about mental illness and the remedies that Limyé and Rutaçyen all the rest of the family are going to use to help Uncle in the basement.

Lately I've been reading up on the uses of both marijuana and psilocybin on people with PTSD, depression, manic depression and even sociopathy. LSD was also considered to help 're-wire' someones brain.
Given that the God and Goddess are pretty active in this world, mostly through the Coalition World instead of the Empire, since the religion of the Sacred Flame of God is actually harming the God Himself, I think that mental illness will be very differently treated there than in our own world.
